Elisa Marchini (Soprano) (? 1888 - ?)

Probably she made her debut in 1903 at the Politeama Verdi at Chiavari as Micaela in ‘’Carmen’’. In the 1906-1907 seasons she appeared in Mialno, Firenze, Vigevano and Padova. In 1913 she sang at the Teatro Regio in Parma the role of Oscar opposite Maggie Teyte in G. Verdi’s ‘’Un ballo in maschera’’. In 1915 she created at the Teatro Donizetti of Bergamo the role  of Lisetta in the première there of G. Puccini’s ‘’La Rondine’’ together with Linda Cannetti, Alessandro Dolci and Francesco Dominici. In 1924 she guested at the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires as Musetta in ‘’La Bohème’’ and as Amore in ‘’Orfeo ed Euridice’’ (opposite Gabriella Besanzoni and Maria Zamboni). The Musetta, probably her real star role, she sang also in 1925 at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genova. She retired from the stage in 1931.
